About Lizz Callahan
I'm Here for My Home
I started my career as a high school English teacher and then worked as a health literacy writer and project manager. More recently, I moved into work as an IT business systems analyst and project manager. Each of these career moves opened my eyes to the ways that local and state government have direct impacts on our every day lives.
I love my home and I want to give back. I co-lead a girl scout troop, perform and costume for the local theater, and show up in my community for my library and schools. I'm raising my 4 kids in Missouri, and I want to build a kinder, more humane government here for all of us.
I lost my 2024 primary election in House District 103, but I'm not done trying to make a better future in Missouri.

I'm keeping this website for now. I might or might not run for office again, but either way, I plan to continue pushing for progressive policies, candidates that care about us, and organizations that make a meaningful difference for the people in our state.
We deserve better than the current policies in Missouri. We know that nobody is coming to save us. We have to save ourselves. I hope you'll come out and help us do it.
